Community Resilience Resources

Resources

CARRI is a resource for communities who want to become more resilient. We help communities understand the characteristics of resilience, how to assess resilience, how to prioritize improvements, and how to obtain rewards. CARRI offers the following resources:

  • Successful practices
  • Lessons learned
  • Data repository and information resources

As a result of research and collaborative efforts with our partner communities CARRI is assembling a collection of resilience-related tools that are available for use:

CARRI has published several research reports outlining the state of community resilience knowledge today and has developed a Searchable Resilience Bibliography and provides this service (updated monthly) to researchers via this web site.  CARRI distributes a monthly newsletter, has a frequently updated blog, and networks socially on Facebook and Twitter.

CARRI's diverse offering of community resilience resources provides an interactive way for people across the nation to learn more about community resilience through engagement and open dialogue. In the coming months,CARRI will expand its collective works to include additional research papers, best practices and lessons learned, and case studies from our partner communities.
